Awhile ago I read a book by Murakami describing a painted sky, something about blues going deeper and deeper into the shades of night.  After finishing the book I hoped I could soon see a sky like that.  And I did.

I've never had a preference for a special color, but do love intensity and aliveness in all I see.  Blue is majestic, in sky, oceans, birds, songs and memories.  Intense in electric flames, and calm in winter daylight.  Blue, as I've learned, is not for the ordinary.

So it was only logical that extraordinary people with extraordinary hearts could make it happen.  They were to bring out the blue I waited for.  Maybe blue is attracted to love, to laughter, to lives getting together.

I like to think that destiny is smiling at those who walk through it, and that it choses the right moments to make itself obvious and present.  María Andrea and Gabriel, thank you bringing out the type of blue that makes hearts alive! You rock!
